Carvoeiro Beach will host the 2026 National Footvolley Championship Final on 12 and 13 September. Portugal’s top male and female athletes will compete for the national titles in what promises to be a weekend of high-level sport, with free admission and live streaming.

12 men’s pairs to battle for the national title
The Men’s Competition will feature the 12 best national pairs, comprising a total of 24 athletes, divided into four groups.
Six clubs will be represented in the competition: CD Póvoa, CRD Santaluziense, FC 11 Esperanças, Imortal DC, PGCN Quinta Arena and Politécnico do Porto, bringing together some of the leading names in Portuguese Footvolley.
The competition gets underway on Saturday, 12 September, with the Group Stage, running from 10:00 to 14:00, with a total of 12 matches.
At 14:00, the Knockout Stage will begin with the Round of 16, followed by the Quarter-Finals, with the day scheduled to conclude at around 18:30.
The men’s competition resumes on Sunday, 13 September, at 14:00, with the Semi-Finals.
This will be followed by the third-place play-off and the highly anticipated Men’s Final at 17:00, when the new national Footvolley champion will be crowned.
Four women’s pairs competing for the title
The Women’s Competition will bring together the four best national pairs, comprising eight athletes competing in a single group.
The participating clubs will be CRD Santaluziense, FC 11 Esperanças and PGCN Quinta Arena.
The women’s competition will take place entirely on Sunday, 13 September, beginning with the Group Stage, from 10:00 to 12:00, with a total of six matches.
At 12:00, the Knockout Stage will begin with the Semi-Finals, scheduled to conclude at around 13:30.
The third-place play-off will follow, with the Women’s Final scheduled for 15:30, when the 2026 national champions will be crowned.
€3,080 in prize money
The 2026 edition of the National Footvolley Championship will offer a total prize pool of €3,080, recognising athletes’ performances and further strengthening the importance of the competition within the national Footvolley calendar.
The prize money also represents an important incentive for athletes and contributes to the continued development and professionalisation of the country’s leading Footvolley competitions.
Two days of live Footvolley action
To ensure fans can follow all the action, both days of competition will be broadcast live, from the opening stages through to the finals.
