European Championship decided in Albufeira

The biggest European Footvolley event of 2023 takes place in Portugal, being Albufeira and its magnificent Praia dos Pescadores, the great amphitheater of the greatest sporting spectacle played on the sand.

On the 28th and 29th of October, the main national footvolley teams representing countries such as Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Holland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland, the main figures of the European panorama, which includes the 2021 European champions, Ron Ben Ishai/Maor Haas (Israel), Dumé Susini/Antoine Ottaviani (France), with the 2018 European title, and Filipe Santos, European champion in 2019, in this edition with Vitor Vilaça, (Portugal) as national champions in 2022, they will shine at the highest level in search of the 2023 European title.

The Portuguese representation in the men's category will be given to Filipe Santos/Vitor Vilaça (Portugal 1) and Pedro Garrido/Bruno Graça (Portugal 2).

In addition to the men's competition, the European event will include a main women's tournament with the participation of 8 teams representing Germany, Austria, Spain, Holland, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland.

The Portuguese representation on the female side will be given to Beatriz Sousa/Amanda Leal (Portugal 1) and Amanda Hollerbach/Rafaela Veiga (Portugal 2).

The event will be broadcast on LiveStreaming worldwide on October 28th and 29th.

Under the organization of the National Footvolley Federation and the European Footvolley League, the event's main supporting entities are the Municipality of Albufeira, Mikasa, as well as several local partners.
