Djalmir Andrade and Thales Millet wins 1st stage of Algave Regional Championship 2023

The best moments of Footvolley are back! The sand court of CRD Santaluziense, a club based in the village of Santa Luzia, in the municipality of Tavira, hosted this Saturday, February 18, the 1st stage of the 2023 Algarve Footvolley Regional Championship.

There were 12 teams/duos representing the clubs FC "Os 11 Esperanças", CRD Santaluziense, FC Ferreiras/Arena Ataboeira and Imortal DC/Bellavista, an initiative that results from a joint organization of the clubs, also from Quarteira Beach Sports and which deserved the support of the National Footvolley Federation from the first moment.

Throughout the day, the athletes from the Algarve evolved in a perfect environment of conviviality and competition, in a total of 22 games to determine the big winners of the opening stage of the regional, with the FC 11 Esperanças team composed of Djalmir Andrade / Thales Millet representing from FC 11 Esperanças getting the better of the team also from the same club, namely Raul Curvelo/Frank Tavares.

The regional championship continues next Saturday, March 4, with the FC 11 Esperanças Arena, in Faro, hosting the 2nd stage of the competition.
